Who we are and what we do
Electro McGee?
Electro McGee is our Creative Editor, and is the one who makes sense of the cacophony: the one who sifts through the noise to bring together the team's diverse creations.
Thus Electro feels most at home whilst throwing things around: words, paint, ideas, feelings, trousers, horse hair, airbeds. They believe in kindness, freshly made soups, comfortable hats and buzzards.
But here I sit once more,
Leather-chaired, majesterial,
Boiler-suit royal with
Little colourful objects,
Organised in rows,
Asking, needing to be used.
Canvasses stretched,
Brushes washed, surfaces clear,
Brain alive. Poised.
Tomorrow the magic will come again.
Quirky mundane
Moody dispassionate
Predictable chaos
Sensual desert.
Too,
Well,
Not enough.
I have everything
And when the growler growls
It’s as nothing.
